Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of removing dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills or stains) in one session without the need to switch out devices. They can also save storage space compared to having two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power which allows it to remove smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.

Like the other two Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating two cameras that can recognize objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its path and clean them without skipping a beat.

This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek angular design is striking and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock and a home-button that can take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml tank of water. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.

The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many features which make it a good choice for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect when the mop pad is overflowing and alert you before it overflows, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It does have a number of characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature of its mop, utilizes two mop heads that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa.
