Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original level of the item and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item upgrades for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by melee and weapons and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next success is being rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item upgrading. The system is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want strain their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, upgrade items and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.

Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades are no longer available to it. In the same way, once an item upgrade is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items (url) can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
